Chicken Breasts With Pecan Crust
|Whole chicken breasts||2 Large, boned and each cut into half|
|Maple syrup/Maple flavor syrup||2 Tablespoon|
|Pecans||3 Ounce, chopped (1 Can)|
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
1. Brush chicken-breast halves all over with maple syrup. On waxed paper, combine chopped pecans, flour, and salt. Coat chicken breasts completely with nut mixture.
2. In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, heat butter or margarine and salad oil until butter melts; add chicken breasts; cook 12 to 15 minutes, turning chicken once and adding more salad oil if needed, until chicken is browned on all sides and fork-tender.
