Baked Chicken N Sausage Dressing
|Sausage links||3 1⁄2 Pound, cut in chunks (7 Sausage Links, 1/2 Pound Each)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Poultry seasoning||1 Teaspoon|
|Cubed beef||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Broiler fryer chicken||3 Pound, split (1 In Number)|
1. Combine 1 tablespoon butter, sausage, celery and onion in a 2-quart glass baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook in microwave oven
5 minutes at High; stir after 3 minutes. Drain excess sausage drippings.
2. Sprinkle salt and poultry seasoning over sausage mixture. Stir in bread cubes and broth; spread evenly.
3. Cut each section of fryer in half (to make four pieces). Place on bread cube mixture with meaty portions to outside of dish.
4. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a 1-cup glass measuring cup in microwave oven (about 30 seconds at High). Brush chicken with melted butter. Set aside.
