|Chicken||3 Pound, cut into serving pieces|
|Whole peeled tomatoes||14 1⁄2 Ounce, undrained and chopped (1 Can)|
|Sliced pitted ripe olives||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped|
|Onion recipe soup mix/Onion-mushroom, beefy mushroom or beefy onion recipe soup mix||1 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Dry red wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg noodles||8 Ounce (Broad Variety, 1 Package)|
In large skillet, heat oil and brown chicken over medium-high heat; drain.
Add tomatoes, olives and garlic, then onion recipe soup mix blended with wine.
Simmer covered 40 minutes or until chicken is done.
Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions.
If necessary, skim fat from sauce.
