Chicken Livers And Mushrooms
|Chicken livers||1 Pound, cut in half if large|
|All purpose flour||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|White pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1⁄2 Medium, sliced|
|Sliced mushrooms||4 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Jar)|
|Snipped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Sliced mushrooms||4 1⁄2 Ounce, drained|
1. Rinse chicken livers, pierce with a fork and drain on paper towels.
2. Mix flour, salt and pepper; coat chicken livers evenly.
3. Melt butter in an 8-inch square glass baking dish in microwave oven (about 30 seconds at High). Add livers and onion and coat with butter. Cover with waxed paper. Cook 9 to 10 minutes at High; stir once.
4. Add mushrooms to livers. Heat uncovered in microwave oven
to serving temperature (about 1 minute at High); or until chicken livers are done.
5. Sprinkle with parsley.
