Healthy Chicken Parm A La Kimkins
|Canned tomato sauce||15 Ounce|
|Tomato sauce||1⁄2 Can (5 oz)|
|Tomato paste||4 Tablespoon|
|Splenda||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chicken breasts||1 Pound|
|Shredded parmesan||1 Tablespoon|
You can make the sauce ahead of time to save time.
Add tomato sauce, 1/2 can water, 2 spoonfuls tomato paste, packet of splenda, and any italian spices you like to a pot and bring to boil.
Turn heat down and simmer for 1 hour.
Add a thin layer of sauce to a glass baking dish.
Place chicken cutlets in pan on top of sauce.
Spoon some sauce over chicken breasts and add a sprinkle of parmesan.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes (or longer if needed).
You can add more sauce or parm if desired at the end.
