Chicken Kolhapuri

Ingredients
  Chicken 2 Pound
  Yogurt 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ginger garlic paste 4 Tablespoon
  Red chilli 2 Tablespoon
  Lime juice 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Bay leaf 2
  Cinnamon pieces 2
  Cloves 5
  Crushed black pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Onions 2 Large
  Tomato 1 Large, chopped
  Grated coconut 5 Tablespoon
  Cilantro 1 Teaspoon (for garnish)
Directions

- Mix red chillies, ginger-garlic paste, salt and lime juice and yogurt
- Add the cut chicken pieces to the marinade and leave aside for about an hour

- Heat oil in pan
- Add bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, cloves, crushed black pepper, saute for a minute
- Add chopped onions. Saute till onions turn translucent and tender
- Add grated coconut. Saute for another 2 minutes
- Add tomatoes, Cook for another 10 minutes
- Cool and puree the mix in a blender

- Heat oil and add the marinated chicken to the pan.
- Cook on medium heat until chicken is cooked. Stir regularly.
- Add paste , water for curry, salt to taste and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes
- Garnish with cilantro
