|Broiler fryer chicken||3 Pound, split (1 Piece)|
|Lemon||1 , halved|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted and divided|
Place chicken, skin side up, in a shallow roasting pan.
Rub chicken with lemon, squeezing out juice occasionally.
Combine salt, paprika, and pepper; sprinkle over chicken; brush with 1/4 cup butter.
Bake, uncovered, at 450° for 10 minutes.
Baste with remaining butter.
Reduce heat to 350°; cover and bake an additional 35 minutes or until tender
