Chicken A La King

This chicken a la king is a creamy and utterly delicious recipe. Sherried to taste and spiced with cayenne, the chicken a la king is flavored with creole sauce. Cooked along with green pepper and mushrooms, the chicken a la king is filling and can be served as desired.
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Cayenne 1 Dash
  Mushroom slices 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg yolks 4
  Cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Green pepper 1 , sliced
  Dry sherry 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Boiled chicken 3 Cup (48 tbs), cut in large
  Cream sauce 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Chopped pimento 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon

Heat butter in a saucepan, add mushrooms, and saute about 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
Stir in green pepper and simmer a few more minutes.
Add sherry, Cream Sauce, salt, and cayenne.
Heat to a boil, stirring constantly.
Combine egg yolks with cream, then stir into mushroom mixture.
Add the chicken and heat through, but do not boil.
Just before serving, add the pimiento.
