Chicken With Cashewnuts

Ingredients
  Boneless chicken 200 Gram, cut into strips
  Mushrooms 8 , cut into 2 pieces
  Green onion 1 , cut bulb into 4 pieces and green into 1" long pieces
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped garlic 1 Tablespoon
  Chopped ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fish sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Green bell pepper 1⁄2 , cut into 1 inch squares
  Cashewnuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), roasted/ fried
  Red chillies 4 , slit lengthwise
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Crushed peppercorns 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oil in a pan/kadhai.
Fry garlic and white part of onion till onion turns light brown.
Add ginger.
Stir.
Add chicken and mushrooms.
Fry for 4-5 minutes.
Reduce heat.
Add salt, pepper, sugar, fish sauce, soya sauce, green and red bell peppers, kaju and red chillies.
Add greens of spring onions.
Saute for 2-3 minutes.
