Chicken With Onions And Green Peas
|Light soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry sherry||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Fryer chicken||1 , cut into large bite-size pieces|
|Peanut oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Yellow onion||1 Large, peeled and chopped|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
Combine the soy sauce, sherry, ginger, and sugar.
Use to marinate the chicken pieces for about 15 minutes.
Saute or chow the chicken with the oil in a wok or frying pan until it is browned but not cooked through.
Remove from the pan, and lightly brown the onion pieces.
Return the chicken to the pan, and add the frozen peas.
Toss for a moment so that all the products mix well, and then place in a bowl that will fit your steamer.
Steam for 35 minutes, or until the chicken is tender.
