Casa Chicken has a grand taste. The chicken and soy sauce gives the Casa Chicken a stimulating taste. Casa Chicken is inspired by restaurants universally. Must try it.
  Broiler fryer chicken 3 Pound, cut up (1 Piece)
  Onion salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Shortening 3 Tablespoon
  Ketchup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Prepared mustard 2 Tablespoon
  Curry powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)
  Bay leaves 2
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon

1. Sprinkle chicken evenly with a mixture of the onion salt and pepper.
2. Heat the shortening in a large heavy skillet. Place chicken pieces, skin side down, in skillet and brown all sides.
3. Blend ketchup, soy sauce, mustard, curry powder, and water; add bay leaves. Pour mixture over chicken. Cover and cook over low heat until chicken is tender, about 45 minutes. Remove chicken to a warm serving platter.
4. If sauce is thick, add about 1 cup water and bring to boiling. Stirring constantly, gradually add a blend of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water. Bring to boiling; cook and stir until thickened.
