Ham V Chicken Specialty
|Green onions and tops||6 , finely chopped|
|Stalk celery||1 , sliced lengthwise|
|Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cooked ham pieces||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cooked chicken pieces||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream/Sour cream substitute||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Creamed cottage cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Thin spaghetti pieces||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), cooked, drained (1 1/2 Inches)|
|Shredded sharp cheddar cheese/Pasteurized process cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), pasteurized|
1. Cook green onion and celery until just tender in hot margarine in a large skillet or saucepan. Mix in ham, chicken, and a mixture of salt, pepper, and celery salt; heat thoroughly.
2. Blend sour cream and cottage cheese. Add to spaghetti and toss lightly until thoroughly mixed. Add ham mixture and toss lightly.
3. Turn into buttered 1 1/ 2 quart casserole or baking dish. Top evenly with shredded cheese.
4. Broil 3 inches from source of heat about 15 minutes, or until mixture is bubbly and cheese is delicately browned. Garnish with parsley.
