How To Make Korean Style Chicken Nuggets - Sweet And Spicy

Juicy, crispy, sticky, sweet and spicy Korean style chicken nuggets that are easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Chicken breasts 2 , cubed
Cornstarch 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Pepper To Taste
Salt To Taste
Coconut oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
Sauce:
Cloves 3 Clove (15 gm) , minced
Ginger 2 Teaspoon , freshly grated
Korean pepper flakes 1 Teaspoon
Soy 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Apple cider 2 Tablespoon
Orange 1/2 , juiced
Garnish
Crushed nuts To Taste
Sesame seeds To Taste

Directions

MAKING:

1. Combine all the ingredients for the sauce and simmer until it reduces by half and set aside.

2. Dredge the chicken in the cornstarch seasoned with salt and pepper. Make sure your chicken is at room temperature.

3. Bring the oil to 350 degrees and fry in batches.

4. Blot off an excess oil then toss each piece in the reduced sauce.

SERVING:

5. Garnish with nuts and sesame seeds and serve with danmuji {radish} pickles.
