A Killer Collaboration with DJ BBQ and Chris of Mother's BBQ. These guys rocked some chicken on the Weber Grill that was out-of-this-world!!!

Rub | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Cherry preserve | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Ketchup | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Chipotle pepper | 1 | |
Adobo sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
Molasses | 2 Tablespoon | |
Apple cider vinegar | 2 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the grill.
2. Cut the egedes of chicken drumsticks as shown in the video.
MAKING
3. Sprinkle the drumsticks with the rub generously and set aside.
4. In a pan, put the cherry preserve, ketchup, chipotle pepper, adobo sauce, soy sauce, molasses, liquid smoke, apple cider vinegar, onion powder and cocoa powder. Stir and allow the sauce to reduce till you get the desired consistency.
5. Meanwhile, place the prepared drumsticks on the grill over indirect heat. Allow to cook
6. Remove the chicken from the grill and dunk each drumstick into the prepared cherry sauce. Return to the grill and cook, covered for 15 minutes.
SERVING
7. Serve with a side dish of your choice.
