Water Chestnut Hors D'Oeuvres - I tried this appetizer for the weekend blast and was stupefied to see the accolades that flowed in. This is a bake and serve appetizer and you can prepare this with ease.
Ingredients
  Water chestnuts 2 Can (20 oz), cut into thumb sized pieces
  Bacon 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Catsup 12 Ounce
  Sugar 8 Tablespoon
Directions

Wrap chestnuts with 1/2 slice bacon; fasten with toothpick.
Place in 9 x 6 x 2 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees until bacon is almost done but not crisp.
Remove from oven; pour off grease.
Combine catsup and sugar; pour around but not over chestnuts.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
Serve imme diately.
