Water Chestnut Hors D'Oeuvres
|Whole water chestnuts||5 Ounce (2/3 Cup Drained)|
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Let water chestnuts stand in soy sauce about 30 minutes.
Roll each in sugar.
Cut bacon in half lengthwise, then crosswise.
Wrap each water chestnut with piece of bacon; anchor with toothpick.
Place on rack in shallow baking pan; bake at 400° about 20 minutes.
Drain on paper towels.
