Cherries in snow is a delightful dessert prepared with angel food cake. Made with a base of cake pieces, the cherries in snow are layered with cherry pie filling and whipped cream. Chilled and served as desserts, the cherries in snow are simply divine.
  Angel food cake 1 Small
  Cherry pie filling can 1 Pound
  Heavy cream 1⁄2 Pint, whipped

Break cake into small pieces.
Use half to cover the bottom of a shallow 2 quart glass baking dish.
Spread half of the cherry pie filling over cake pieces, smoothing into an even layer with the back of a spoon.
Spoon half of the whipped cream over this, smoothing again.
Repeat layers, ending with whipped cream.
Smooth the cream with a spatula to cover the entire top of mixture.
Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 24 hours.
Cut into squares and serve.
