|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
In a bowl combine eggs, shortening, milk and vanilla.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add cherries and stir into egg mixture.
Do not overmix.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin, filling cups two-thirds full.
Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes
