Frozen Cherry Dessert

Ingredients
  Chopped candied cherries 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brandy 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Quart
  Rum 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Cover cherries with brandy; soak for several hours.
Drain.
Let ice cream stand until softened; blend in cherries and rum.
Freeze in individual sherbet glasses.
Garnish with mint leaves.
