Combine all ingredients except the fruit pectin in a 4 to 6-quart kettle and mix well.
Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add pectin all at once and bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
Skim off the foam and cool for 5 minutes, skimming and stirring to distribute fruit.
Ladle into sterilized jars or glasses.
Cover immediately with paraffin.
