Ingredients
  Prepared biscuit mix 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Teaspoon
  Light cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Melted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Canned pitted red sour cherries 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained
  Diced candied lemon peel 2 Tablespoon
  Cherry sauce 4 Tablespoon
Directions

Blend together biscuit mix and butter; add cream and stir well.
Turn out on a lightly floured board; knead for 30 seconds.
Roll out into a rectangle 1/4 inch thick.
Brush with melted butter.
Top with cherries and lemon peel.
Roll up as for jelly roll.
Place on buttered baking sheet; brush with melted butter.
Bake in preheated hot oven (425 °F.) for 20 minutes.
Slice and serve hot with Cherry Sauce,
