|Whole chicken breast/4 turkey breast tenderloin steaks, cut 1/2 inch thick||1 1⁄2 Pound, skinned, boned, and halved lengthwise (Medium Piece)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Red raspberry preserves||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Cherry Or Seedless)|
|Ground allspice||1 Dash|
Rinse chicken or turkey; pat dry. Place on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for 6 minutes. Brush with some of the lemon juice. Turn poultry over. Brush with remaining lemon juice. Broil 6 to 9 minutes or till tender and no longer pink.
For sauce, in a small saucepan cook and stir the preserves, lemon juice, and allspice over low heat till melted. Remove from heat. Pass sauce with chicken or turkey.
