|Red wine vinegar||2 Quart (Use Good Quality)|
Pack cherries in sterilized jars.
Combine sugar, vinegar and cinnamon in 3-quart saucepan and bring to boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.
Cook 5 minutes.
Place cinnamon stick in each jar, pour syrup over and seal.
May be stored in large plastic container or jar in refrigerator for 1 year.
