Warm Kirsch With Cherries Jubilee
|Pitted dark sweet cherries||2 Can (20 oz)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Kirsch/Cointreau||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Warm)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Quart|
Put 1 cup cherry juice in blazer pan over moderate heat.
Add sugar mixed with cornstarch and cook and stir until mixture boils and is thickened.
Add cherries and cook until cherries are heated.
Place over boiling water in water pan.
Pour kirsch or Cointreau over cherries and sauce and ignite
