Easy Cherries Jubilee

Ingredients
  Fresh cherries 1 Pound, cut in half and remove pits
  Cherries 1 Pound, cut in half and remove pits
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cherry brandy/Brandy/cointreau/other liqueur 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla ice cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Mix cornstarch, sugar, water and cherries in a glass casserole serving dish.
Microwave, uncovered, 6 minutes on high or until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.
Microwave brandy in a dish 30 seconds.
Ignite brandy and pour over cherries.
