Date And Cherry Bites
|Almonds||250 Milliliter (slivered)|
|Butter||125 Milliliter (1/2 cup)|
|Dates||375 Milliliter, cut into small pieces (1 1/2 cups)|
|Sugar||180 Milliliter (3/4 cup)|
|Candied cherries||80 Milliliter, cut up (1/3 cup)|
|Nuts||125 Milliliter, chopped (1/2 cup)|
|Corn flakes||3 Cup (48 tbs) (750 ml)|
– Grill almonds in oven and set aside.
– Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add dates, sugar and cherries and stir until a soft paste forms.
– Stir in nuts and cornflakes.
– Shape into small balls, cool, and roll in the grilled almonds.
