Cherry Dessert Mold
|Canned low calorie light sweet cherries||1 Cup (16 tbs), drained (Reserve Liquid)|
|Low calorie gelatin||4 Teaspoon, cherry flavored|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Non caloric sweetener||8 Teaspoon|
Add water, if necessary, to cherry liquid to make 1 cup.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over gelatin in a bowl and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Blend in the water, lemon juice, and sweetener.
Chill until gelatin is slightly thickened.
Halve and pit the drained cherries; set aside.
Blend cherries into slightly thickened gelatin.
Turn mixture into a 1 quart mold.
Chill until firm.
Unmold onto a chilled serving plate.
