Easter Cheese Cake
|Dough||500 Gram (For Grandmother'S Cheese Cake Or Country Cheese Cake)|
|Confectioner's sugar||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Farmer cheese/Ricotta cheese||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Butter/Margarine||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated lemon peel||2 Teaspoon|
|Finely chopped candied orange peel||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Thick raspberry jam/Strawberry preserves||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Prepare dough for crust; line pan.
Beat eggs at high speed until thickened.
Slowly beat in sugar, beating until mixture piles softly.
Press cheese through a sieve.
Beat cheese with butter, salt, vanilla extract, and lemon peel.
Fold eggs into cheese mixture.
Stir in orange peel and raisins.
Spread jam over bottom of prepared crust in pan.
Turn cheese mixture into pan.
Bake at 325Â°F 45 minutes to 1 hour or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool well before cutting.
