|For crumb crust to line 9 inch spring form pan|
|Graham crumbs/Vanilla wafer crumbs||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Melted butter||3 Tablespoon|
|Cream cheese||1 Pound (May Use 1/2 Cottage Cheese)|
|White sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Eggs||5 , separated|
|Liqueur/Vanilla extract||1 Tablespoon|
|Thick sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
Beat cheese thoroughly.
Gradually add sugar and cream well.
Add egg yolks—one at a time.
Stir in flour, sour cream and flavouring.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour carefully into crumb-lined pan.
Bake at 300°F for 1 hour.
Turn oven off and leave cake in oven for 1 hour, with door slightly open.
This cheese cake is quite delicious plain, but may be topped with fruit or whipped cream.
