Black Forest Cheesecake
|Cream cheese||12 Ounce, softened (4 packages, 3 ounce each)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Semi sweet chocolate morsels||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Canned cherry pie filling||22 Ounce (2 cans, 22 ounce each)|
|Whipped cream||1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
|Maraschino cherries||1⁄4 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)|
Cream together cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Microwave chocolate morsels in a 1-cup glass measure at HIGH 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
Lightly swirl melted chocolate into cream cheese mixture.
Pour filling over crumb mixture.
Microwave at MEDIUM-HIGH 4 to 5 minutes.
Rotate dish 1/4 turn at 1 minute intervals.
Outer edge of filling should be set.
Cool to room temperature.
Spread cherry pie filling over cream cheese mixture.
Chill thoroughly before serving.
Garnish with whipped cream and maraschino cherries.
