Family-Style Swiss Cheese Fondue

  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1 Dash
  Nutmeg 1 Dash
  Milk 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (Scalded, If In A Hurry)
  Process swiss cheese 1 Pound, shredded
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Tabasco sauce 1 Dash
  Dry white wine/Milk if preferred 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Kirsch/Milk if preferred 2 Tablespoon
  French bread 1 , cut in 1 inch cubes

Melt butter or margarine in ceramic fondue pot over a moderate direct heat.
Stir in next 5 ingredients.
Stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly until sauce is smooth and thickened slightly.
Lower heat.
Add cheese, a small amount at a time and stir until cheese is melted after each addition.
Stir in remaining ingredients except bread.
To serve let each guest spear a crust-edged cube of bread with fondue fork and twirl bread in cheese mixture until coated.
Drain, cool, and eat.
