Chocolate Butterscotch Fondue

Ingredients
  Light cream/Half and half 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Semi-sweet chocolate bits 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butterscotch bits 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Maple flavoring 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Foods For Twirling)
Directions

Heat cream or half and half, sugar and salt in ceramic or metal fondue pot over direct high heat.
Lower heat; stir in chocolate and butterscotch bits.
Reduce heat to low and allow bits to melt, stirring constantly.
Stir in flavorings.
Spear wedges of apple, cake squares, doughnut chunks, large marshmallows or other foods for twirling and swirl in mixture.
Drain and roll in finely chopped nuts, if desired.
