Cheese Straw

Cheese straw is a snacky preparation made with cheese and flour and baked. The cheese staw also has eggs in it and is spiced with red chili powder and mustard powder and is savory and delicious.
  Plain flour 120 Gram
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Red chilli powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Mustard powder 1 Pinch
  Cheese 50 Gram, grated
  Egg yolk 1
  Butter 50 Gram
  Water 1 Teaspoon

Sieve together the flour, salt and red chilli powder.
Rub in the butter, until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
Mix in the grated cheese, egg yolk and water and knead into a firm dough.
R0II out the dough, on a lightly floured surface into a circle of inch thickness.
Cut into stripes inch wide and twist.
Pre heat the oven on 'convection' at 180° C with the lightly greased metal tray placed on the high rack.
Bake at 180° C for 25:00 minutes.
