Grilled Cheese For A Crowd
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped dill pickle||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|White bread slice||24|
|Provolone cheese slices||24 Ounce|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted (1 Stick)|
Mix mayonnaise or salad dressing and pickle in a small bowl; spread 1 rounded teaspoonful on each slice of bread.
Place cheese on half the bread slices, cutting cheese to fit; top with remaining bread, spread side down.
Brush sandwiches lightly on both sides with melted butter or margarine; place on cookie sheets.
Bake in extremely hot oven (500Â°) for 5 minutes, or until golden and cheese is melted.(No need to turn.)
Cut in half diagonally; serve hot.
