Cottage Cheese Prune Salad

Ingredients
  Sliced maraschino cherries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Small curd cottage cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs), sieved
  Sour cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pineapple chunks 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained
  Cooked chopped prunes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Banana 1 Large, sliced
  Chopped blanched almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Drain cherries, reserving 2 tablespoons juice.
Combine all ingredients except sour cream and cherry juice.
Pour into trays that have been rinsed in cold water.
Freeze.
Let stand at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
Serve with a mixture of sour cream and cherry juice.
