Pineapple Cream Cheese Mold
|Canned crushed pineapple||1 1⁄4 Can (12.5 oz) (1 large can)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Unflavored gelatin||2 Tablespoon (2 envelopes)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce (1 package)|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Cream||1 Pint, whipped|
|Chopped pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped maraschino cherries||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Heat pineapple to boiling point; add sugar.
Soak gelatin in lemon juice for 5 minutes; add to pineapple.
Cool until mixture is par tially thickened.
Cream cheese, adding milk a little at a time.
Add whipped cream to cheese mixture.
Add cream cheese mixture to gelatin.
Add nuts and cherries.
Chill until firm.
