Cottage Cheese Beef Bake

Ingredients
  Medium noodles 3 1⁄2 Ounce
  Ground beef/Ground pork 1 Pound
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Tomato sauce 15 Ounce
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried savory/Dried marjoram 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cream-style cottage cheese 12 Ounce (1.5 Cups)
  Cream cheese 3 Ounce, softened
  Egg 1
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In large saucepan cook noodles in a large amount of boiling salted water for 10 to 12 minutes or just till tender; drain.
In skillet cook ground beef or ground pork, onion, and green pepper till meat is browned and vegetables are tender; drain off fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, salt, savory or marjoram, pepper, and the cooked noodles till fluffy.
Place half of the mixture in a 10x6x2-inch baking dish.
In small mixer bowl combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, and egg; beat till fluffy.
Spread over meat mixture in baking dish.
Top with the remaining meat mixture.
Sprinkle with parmesan.
Bake, uncovered, in 350° oven about 40 minutes or till heated through.
