Baked Squash With Cheese

Ingredients
  Yellow squash 6 Medium
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Cheese 1 Pound, grated
  Seasoned bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cut the squash in 1/2 inch slices.
Parboil or steam the squash 5 minutes.
Drain and save any water for soups.
Layer the squash, onion, and cheese in an oiled, shallow 2 quart baking dish.
Place crumbs on top.
Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 350 Degree.
