|Shredded swiss cheese||1 Pound (4 Cups, 500 Gram)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Pinch|
|Dry white wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Bread cubes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Rub 6-cup (1.5 L) casserole with cut garlic and discard.
Combine cheese, flour, cayenne pepper and nutmeg; toss well and set aside.
Pour wine into casserole; microwave, uncovered, at High for 1 to 3 minutes or just until bubbles begin to form but wine does not boil.
Stir in cheese mixture; microwave, uncovered, at Medium (50%) for 4 to 8 minutes or until melted and well blended, stirring every 2 minutes.
Stir in kirsch (if using); season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with bread cubes.
