Simple Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cream cheese 1⁄4 Pound
  Egg 1
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar till fluffy, beat half of the egg and the softened cream cheese into it as well
2. In a dry bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking powder and blend it into the cream cheese mixture well
3. Shape the batter into rolls an inch and a half in diameter and wrap them in wax paper; chill for several hours
4. Cut them into slices and arrange on greased cookie sheets; brush the cookies with the remaining egg, allow to dry and bake at 350°F for ten minutes

5. Serve as required
