Low Cal Dessert Squares
|Graham wafer crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Melted margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Low fat cottage cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar substitute||1⁄4 Tablespoon (8 Packages)|
|Whipped topping||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Low calorie jello powder||3 Ounce|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fruit with juice||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Canned / Frozen)|
Mix well crumbs and margarine.
Pat into 9 x 13" pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 350Â°F.
Blend cottage cheese in food processor until smooth.
Add sugar substitute, whipped topping (mixed as package directs); spread on crumb base.
Dissolve jello powder in boiling water.
Add fruit with juice.
Chill until almost set.
Spread on cheese mixture.
Chill 3 hours or longer.
Good combinations: orange jelly powder and pineapple; strawberry jello and frozen berries; raspberry jello and frozen cherries.
