Salad Of Greens And Maytag Blue Cheese
|Romaine lettuce head||1 , torn into bite-size pieces|
|Belgian endive head||1 , sliced crosswise into 1/2-inch thick pieces|
|Green onions||3 , minced|
|Thinly sliced smoked turkey/Chicken||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Or Shredded)|
|Tarragon vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Prepared mustard||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Extra virgin olive oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Crumbled blue cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Maytag)|
|Red delicious apples||2 , cored and chopped|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. In a salad bowl, arrange endive and lettuce. Atop with turkey and onions and keep aside.
2. Take a small bowl, add mustard, garlic and vinegar and blend. Add oil and mix thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
3. Top dressing with salad and toss. Scatter apples, nuts and sprinkle cheese.
4. Toss and server on chilled salad plates.
