Sherry Blue Cheese Crock
|Blue cheese||1 Pound (Preferably Nauvoo Variety, At Room Temperature)|
|Cream cheese||1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1/2 inch pieces (At Room Temperature)|
|Onion||1 Small, minced|
|Dry sherry||3 Tablespoon|
|Pickled squash||1 Tablespoon|
|Pickled pumpkin||1 Tablespoon|
1)In a mixing bowl, finely crumble blue cheese.
2)Pour in the cream cheese along with onion, and sherry.
3)Making use of the back of a wooden spoon, stir and blend all ingredients together till they are smooth.
4)Take a 2 1/2 to 3-cup crock.
5)Transfer the blue cheese into it.
6)Close the crock and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
The ingredients can be blended in a food processor fitted with a steel blade too.
