Scalloped Rice With Cheese
|Onions/1 package frozen onions||6 Medium, chopped|
|Uncooked rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Boiling water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Diced american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Use Soft Variety)|
|Green pepper||1 , chopped|
Fry the onions in butter until golden brown.
Add rice, salt and boiling water.
Cook until rice is nearly tender.
Then add 1 can of tomato soup.
When the rice has absorbed all of the liquid, stir in gently the green pepper and cheese.
Transfer to well oiled casserole and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
