Scalloped Rice With Cheese

Ingredients
  Onions/1 package frozen onions 6 Medium, chopped
  Uncooked rice 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Boiling water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Diced american cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Use Soft Variety)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
Directions

Fry the onions in butter until golden brown.
Add rice, salt and boiling water.
Cook until rice is nearly tender.
Then add 1 can of tomato soup.
When the rice has absorbed all of the liquid, stir in gently the green pepper and cheese.
Transfer to well oiled casserole and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Serves 6.
