Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients
  Flour 250 Milliliter
  Baking powder 3 Milliliter
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Milliliter
  Salt 4 Milliliter
  White pepper 1 Pinch
  Beer 250 Milliliter
  Safflower oil 1 Liter
  Egg white 1
  Mozzarella cheese 454 Gram, cut into sticks
Directions

In a mixing bowl, sift the dry ingredients together.
Slowly add the beer.
Whisk briskly.
Let stand for 1 1/2 hours.
Heat the oil to 190°C (375°F).
Whip the egg white into the batter.
Dip the cheese sticks into the batter allowing any excess to run off.
Using a slotted spoon, place cheese sticks into hot oil.
Fry 2 1/2 - 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve at once.
Try using the Cheese Dip with these.
