Baked Cheese And Apples

Ingredients
  Apples 4
  Fine bread crumbs 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Yellow cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs), grated
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Start oven, set at Moderate, 325° F. Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish with butter or margarine.
2. Wash apples, pare, core and slice them thinly.
3. Line the dish with 1/4 cup of the crumbs; place a layer of about one fourth of the sliced apples in the bottom of the dish, cover with 1/2 cup cheese and sprinkle with salt. Repeat layers of apples and cheese. Cover with the milk. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs; dot with butter or margarine.
4. Bake about 30 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the top is browned.
