Sherried Cheese Fondue
|Shredded natural swiss cheese||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Finely diced gruyere cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), pressed or finely chopped|
|Dry white wine||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||3 Tablespoon|
Lightly toss cheese, flour, nutmeg, pepper and garlic together in 2-quart bowl.
Pour wine into 2-quart casserole or fondue dish.
MICROWAVE 5 to 6 MINUTES on '6', or until wine is hot.
Stir in cheese mixture.
MICROWAVE 2 to 4 MINUTES on '6', or until cheese melts.
Stir in sherry, serve immediately.
Can be kept hot or reheated as needed.
