Creamy Tuna Mac 'N' Cheese
|Cold water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Macaroni and cheese dinner||7 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Frozen sweet peas||1 Cup (16 tbs) (From 16 Ounce Package)|
|Dairy sour cream||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Margarine/Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned tuna||6 1⁄2 Ounce, drained, flaked (1 Can)|
|Shredded american cheese/Shredded cheddar cheese||2 Ounce (1/2 Cup)|
In 3-quart saucepan, combine water, onion and macaroni from macaroni and cheese dinner; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in frozen peas.
Cover; simmer an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until macaroni is tender; drain.
Add sour cream, milk, margarine and cheese sauce mix from macaroni and cheese dinner to cooked macaroni and peas; mix well.
Stir in tuna.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with American cheese.
