Cheese & Olive Calzones
|Pizza crust||1 (1 recipe Traditional)|
|Onion||1 Medium, finely chopped|
|Crumbled dry basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ricotta cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs) (at room temperature)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded mozzarella cheese||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Sliced green olives||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), drained|
|Sliced black olives||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), drained|
|Pimentos||4 Ounce, sliced and drained (1 jar)|
Prepare dough for pizza crust.
While dough is rising, prepare filling: In a small skillet, saute onion and basil in olive oil until soft. Remove from heat and combine with all remaining ingredients. Set filling aside.
Assemble and bake as instructed for Spinach Calzones.
