Goat Cheese Fondue
|Unsalted butter||1 Teaspoon|
|Shallots||2 , minced|
|Semisoft goat cheese||3 Ounce|
|Light cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cumin||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
1. In a small saute pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shallots and saute for about 2 minutes until just softened.
2. Stir in the cheese and cream. Increase the heat to medium-high and cook, stirring constantly for about 1 minute, or until the cheese has melted. Stir in the cumin and salt and pepper to taste. Remove from the heat and keep warm.
